ARTIST TRADING CARDS

Artist Trading Cards (ATC) are masterpieces in miniature that are swapped and collected.  They are never bought or sold, only exchanged for another.  The size of the card is 2 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" tall.  The  base of these cards is usually cardstock and artists use painting, collage, rubber stamping, watercolor, transfers, beading, found objects, stitching and even metalwork on their cards.  Anything goes....there are no limitations as to what goes on the cards. Creating these cards is to enjoy the process of art without thought of payment or glory.  It is about sharing and giving. There are many ATC websites to view amazing cards.   I gave a program on ATC's to our local art group and everyone constructed their first one and we then exchanged with each other.  These are my first ATC's.
